CT Scan

The doctor saw Steve this morning and based on Steve’s condition they are going to do a CT scan.

Steve is still delirious, and he is not articulating himself. He is word searching and verbally confused; unable to put words in order. David called this “expressive aphasia”.

They are right now taking Steve down to get a CT scan to see if perhaps he has suffered a small stroke. One thing we all have been counting on is that Steve would be cognitively intact… that is now in question.

We await results of the CT scan.

    It is amazing to read a few people saying “you don't know us…” and still feel so deeply for Pastor Steve and his family. That is the beauty of the body of Christ, we bear one another's burdens. I too didn't know him personally but his sermons always found a spot in my heart, a deep spot. I had the chance to speak with him when I went to the UCM church office for a pastoral care matter and I will never forget the words he said to me when I uttered some self-deprecating words. He oozed the Holy Spirit. I live in Australia but when we visit the Phils we worship at UCM. Michelle, thanks for allowing us 'strangers' but belonging to the same family into your heart's turmoils. It is awesome to read your updates truly powered by the Holy Spirit. May the Lord breathe His peace into you and P. Steve in double portions as you go through tough times.
