A room

Prayer request: Steve is 5th in line to get out of the ICU to another floor where we could visit him freely, etc. 5th is far in hospital terms. In other words, he is physically ready now but a room may not be available until tomorrow. Please pray that a room becomes available asap. Also, Steve is switching nurses. Each nurse has discretion over whether or not to let me stay. It is an extremely rare privilege. Please pray that his nurse would allow me to stay.

With love!

We will pray for a room to open up quickly for Steve. A little encouraging note…I've been in many ICU's here in Seattle…well not “many” by definition, but too many for one person to have to go through…They've been restrictive as far as “other” guests go, but for my husband, they've always been very accommodating. I pray that all the nurses will be as accommodating for you too.

I also pray that the good news continue to flow…thanks for all the updates.

Fantastic news. I am so happy. I am sure this is truly God's hand in action. Thank you for keeping us posted all the time. Let us know when you are in Seattle and we will come down and visit you. Its a nice drive from Vancouver to Seattle. We will keep on praying for more miracles to come…

“How Great is our God . . .” — I keep singing that as I read the posts and praise and pray for all of you surrounding Steve. I'm also amazed and get “chills” when I see that this blog has to date over 21 thousand “hits' — which means that the throne of God has been approached on your behalves at least 21,000 times and that's just on this blog. “How Great is Our God” is an understatement of His amazing love all around our world. And that He's concerned in your corner of the world with the pain, the room assignment, the rehab, the children, the family and of course you, Michelle and Steve. love and ongoing prayers.

I am a friend of Becky and Dan's and have been following progress updates, prayer requests and have been joining with countless others praying for God's will to triumph. Michelle, I am so blessed and encouraged by your sweetness and transparent heart of love for Steve and the Lord. And by your honesty. It is clear that you are aware of being held and ministered to by God who sustains through amazing love and grace. Thank you for allowing me to be with you on this journey, even though we've never met.
    In His love, Annie Klein

We are so encouraged by your reports. We will continue to pray. Pastor Steve is definitely a fighter and we know that God will use all of this in a way that none of us can see right now. We will continue to pray for you both diligently that you will feel the peace that passes all understanding. I'm reminded of the song: Be Still. When we went through the floods last year it kept going through my mind and now with your situation I'm praying it for you. “Hide me now under your wings; cover me within your mighty hand. When the oceans rise and thunders roar I will soar with You above the storm. Father, you are king over the flood, I will be still and know you are God. Find rest my soul in Christ alone. Know His power in quietness and trust.” This is my prayer for you, Michelle and for Pastor Steve. Love, Bob & Carol Kuiken
