Infection

Dear friends and family,

Please pray for Steve. He is unwell. The doctors think he has a urinary tract infection. He has been shivering violently under the blankets, and is now calm but covered with a thick layer, and cold. Steve will begin a cycle of antibiotics this morning.

He will rest today and tomorrow. We are hoping he will be better in time for therapy on Monday.

    In the course of the day, while typing a news release, eating meals at fast foods, sitting at press conferences, brushing my teeth, in a bus commuting to work, always thinking, worrying about what's happening in Seattle–short pleading prayers are constantly offered for Steve's wellbeing all day long. Today, Sunday, at UCM, extensive, community prayers are said in synchrony for our dear Pastor Steve. Everyone around me at Newcomers loves you and misses you.

    getting ready to go to the 10.30 service at ucm. will pray in particular for this infection. pls give pastor steve cranberry juice which inhibits the bacteria from moving further up his urinary tract towards his bladder. also work yogurt and acidophilus into his diet to counteract the depletion of intestinal flora (the good bacteria) which is caused by frequent ingestion of antibiotics.
