Sleep last night was just ‘that’ much better; pain management is ‘that’ much better.  Slow gains… but gains.

Thanks everyone for the continued prayer; it is needed and so welcome.

It's amazing, isn't it, how we come to value that which before we may have complained about.

If anyone can overcome this Pastor Steve, it's you. May God continue to bless your progress and keep watch over Michelle and the boys. Truly, God is a healing, miraculous God!

Because He lives,i can face tomorrow

And life is worth the living
    Just because He lives

    Rock Flowers
“Thou hast shewed thy people hard things” (Ps. 60:3).
I have always been glad that the Psalmist said to God that some things were hard. There is no mistake about it; there are hard things in life. Some beautiful pink flowers were given me this summer, and as I took them I said, “What are they?” And the answer came, “They are rock flowers; they grow and bloom only on rocks where you can see no soil.” Then I thought of God's flowers growing in hard places; and I feel, somehow, that He may have a peculiar tenderness for His “rock flowers” that He may not have for His lilies and roses. –Margaret Bottome The tests of life are to make, not break us. Trouble may demolish a man's business but build up his character. The blow at the outward man may be the greatest blessing to the inner man. If God, then, puts or permits anything hard in our lives, be sure that the real peril, the real trouble, is what we shall lose if we flinch or rebel. –Maltbie D. Babcock
“Heroes are forged on anvils hot with pain, And splendid courage comes but with the test. Some natures ripen and some natures bloom Only on blood-wet soil, some souls prove great Only in moments dark with death or doom.” “God gets his best soldiers out of the highlands of affliction.”

    Zechariah 4:6
“Not by might nor by power but by my Spirit” says the Lord God Almighty
As I meditate on the overwhelming tasks that rehab requires and the weakness from being in bed for several weeks and uncertain limitations that face you. This verse keeps running through my mind.
For those of us who are Type A. and overachievers and driven, it is difficult to face walls you can not knock down, challenges to overcome. This verse keeps things in perspective. It is God's spirit
that gives you power.. so that He alone gets the glory. You have many many cheerleaders who will lift up your arms when you get weak so that you may be victorious in your battle. Glorify His name and lift it up so that others who are watching know your source of supply. You have been granted so many blessings already. It is exciting to watch God work through the body of Christ.
